Old River Paintball Toys for Tots Senario Game

Well, it was great. I first got there, parked, registered dropped off my toy, my case of paint, and set up the rest of my camp.  I got to know some of the teams and other paintball enthusiasts.  Then at 12 noon Saturday, Nov. 25, the game began.

The Senario of this game?  “The Battle for Christmas”.  I had been handpicked by “Steel Industries” to put the “Kybosh” on Christmas. This corporate entity wanted to put a stop to the major competition.

On Saturday, Steele Industries was in the lead by running missions to steel a Christmas tree, Toys from Santa’s workshop, and other Christmas related items in order to sabotage their chances of “Holiday Cheer.”

Sunday morning came around, I was dreary eyed, but was one of the first of my team to run the first mission of the morning. The missions I ran was a mission to Jack Frost’s Copy Machine place, where I had to acquire copy machine supplies to mess up their duplicating services. I only went with 2 other co-workers, they got taken out, and I was the only one left, apparently one of “Santa’s little helpers” had been camping patiently at the copy machine store, and took me out by suprise.
By the time I had gotten back to the Steel Industries HQ, we had been overrun by Santa’s Volunteers. Then the Doom Troopers team came on the field, encouraged all non-team playing and solo-paintballist to PUSH FORWARD, and we did, in numbers, and clobbered Santa’s volunteers, and pushed them back to where they belonged.  The score between the two teams was close.
Then, there was the Final battle, refs tapped of a limited area for the game, the object, to snag a Christmas tree in the middle of the playing area, this field and limited space, and at the sound of the horn, it was ON! Both teams met up in the middle, firing upon one another like there was no tomorrow! Paint flying back and forth! It seemed like a stalemate. Then we had runners risking getting serious paintball welts going in for the objective, each one had to have a paint check to see if they were out, alot were hit while going in for the objective, so they had to go back to the insertion point.

It was complete PANDEMONIUM! Finally, minutes before the mission was over, we all charged towards the objective, but in the end Santa’s Volunteers won it!

Congrats to a job well done paintballers!
